Shebbearvillage.co.uk has seen an excellent amount of traffic visiting the website. The interest in the resource far exceeds the wildest expectations when the site was first conceived.

The first full calendar month has seen 22,000 hits on the site, add to this the first 2 weeks at the back end of October that saw nearly 12,000 hits and the interest in this embryonic website has been superb. The people accessing the site are based in a surprisingly wide range of countries. These include, Canada, Ireland, Hong Kong, Australia, Turkey, Japan, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Cyprus, the United States of America and of course the UK.

So far, most interest has been in finding out what is happening, what trades and services, jobs, accommodation and essential services are available as well as seeing the images of the area past and present.

Feedback from local residents has been one of overwhelming encouragement for the website and shebbearvillage.co.uk looks forward to developing the site much more. It is intended to obtain many more wedding photographs of local residents along with more articles about the history and personal views of local life.
